Introducing the Forge Reasoning API Beta and Nous Chat: An Evolution in LLM Inference

Nous Research introduces two complementary projects: the Forge Reasoning API and Nous Chat. The Forge API offers inference-time reasoning techniques on top of the Hermes 70B model, including a Python code interpreter, Monte‑Carlo tree search, mixture‑of‑agents, and chain-of-code. Users can supply their own models and selectively enable reasoning layers to improve performance. Nous Chat provides a simple interface to interact with Hermes 70B, demonstrating the effectiveness of Hermes and inviting users to explore the API.
